Modeto Intelligence for Umbraco Forms

Companion package for Modeto Intelligence that adds Umbraco Forms support.

• Form analytics: Modeto > Forms shows, per form, the visits that viewed, started (clicked into a field) and submitted it, start / completion / conversion rates, and the field visitors were last in when they left without submitting.
• Goal trigger: Modeto > Goals gets "Submitting a form" (pick forms, or Any). Usable in reports, audiences ("reached goal") and A/B experiments.
• Identify visitors on submit: per form, pick the field that becomes the visitor's CRM id (usually e-mail) and map fields to CRM traits for audience rules.

Install

dotnet add package Modeto.Intelligence.Forms

(From a local folder: register it as a package source as described in the Modeto.Intelligence readme, rather than using --source.)

Requires Modeto.Intelligence (same version, installed automatically) and Umbraco Forms 18.2.1+ installed in the site. This package does not install Umbraco Forms (a licensed product): on a site without Forms it does nothing at all (no menu, no goal trigger, no table) and Modeto works as usual. Install Forms later and restart; the features switch on. The modetoFormSettings table is created at startup.

Notes

• Views, starts and drop-offs come from the Modeto script (modeto.js, injected by default) and need analytics consent. Submissions are recorded on the server.
• Identification only applies to visitors with analytics consent; say so in the form's consent text.
• Events use category Form with the form id as label (drop-offs: formId|fieldId), so they also show in Analytics > Events.
